Life Is Good In Florida

Florida?  We're still in Japan, but we have it on good authority that life in the Florida Keys is indeed good.

"Sandscraper" of the blog MY LIFE IN THE FLORIDA KEYS AND BEYOND posted this shout out to us.

Beautiful video taken while sailing his 18 foot catboat "Puffin".    Nice tour of his boat and geography lesson about Buttonwood Sound where he sails.  Enjoy:

Thank you so much, Charlie.    Happy holidays and all the best in 2014!

Until next, sweet sailing.

Glad you enjoyed my little tribute to you and K, had I known it would have such a great audience as yours, I would have tried harder eg. Stem ware for the toast.

Akemashite omedetou.

@Sandscraper: Thanks for the ID. A friend's mother used to have the open cockpit version of the 15' Marshall Marine Sandpiper. A sweet boat. If I ever get around to sailing a big boat (I started with Moth Boats back in the 1950s and have stayed loyal to that 11' class) that would be my choice.
